A Growth Policy: The term “growth policy” was introduced into Montana law in the late 1990s, and in state law it is interchangeable with the terms “master plan” and “comprehensive plan”. A growth policy is a broad body of public policy, primarily on growth and development issues. While it is not a regulatory document in and of itself, once adopted it forms the legal and rational basis, or nexus, for follow-up regulations or programs to implement the growth policy. Take zoning for example; a growth policy does not zone property, nor does it enact any regulation

Mission Valley Workforce System
The Mission Valley Community Management Team is a network of community partners who offer a variety of employment and training services. We have come together to develop our local workforce development system. Our goal is to deliver a comprehensive menu of services to employer and job seeking customers that allows easy access and a seamless delivery of information and assistance.
Mission Mountain Enterprises
Mission Mountain Enterprises, Inc. provides servicesto people in it activity centers and thrift stores in Polson and Ronan, as well as through our community employment program. We have eight people based in our Mission View and Benjamin St. Homes in Ronan. In Polson, we operate two intensive care group homes, Orchard View which is an eight bed home and 9th Ave. which is a six bed home. Twenty-five persons are now being served in our supported living program. We provide transportation services to people who are in our programs.

Lake County Housing
The Lake County Housing Assistance Office has housing assistance programs for low and moderate income families provided by the City of Ronan Housing Authority and the Lake County Community Housing Organization.
